Danielle

What a nice story--thanks for sharing and I hope you had a great trip!

I've gotten several comments "offline" from people I know saying that they liked this story. I'm curious to hear from others what about it strikes a chord?
If it's about the benefits of connections with strangers, I've got many more stories to tell!

I'm happy to say my bout with allergies quickly passed, and I'm settled back into the day-to-day here in Austin. Thank you for characterizing our brief encounter so well, I really enjoyed our visit. It reminded me that, while the world might be a big busy place, we are all connected, and what wonderful things can happen if we simply allow it. Those twenty minutes were the highlight of my day. And, I have a new blog to follow! :)

Mike!!!

Here you are. How did you find the blog? I don't remember us exchanging cards.
I was being silly writing about the allergies - a little joke about how two strangers can end up talking about an array of things.
That's so cool that you found this. A hearty welcome. And maybe I'll see you in Austin at the next SXSW gathering.

I thought you might be surprised. We never exchanged cards, but you'd indicated what you did, and who you worked for, so did a little looking around and voila!
If you do make it down to SXSW, be sure to let me know. It's a really great time!

Best,
Mike
